About the Artist

Artist Statement

Every glide of the hand, stroke of the brush, drip of glaze, and smolder of the fire is derived from natural tendencies. It is with this natural creation that gives Alison Eads' artwork its distinctly organic feel. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind work of art, which occurs through Alison's tactile understanding of existence through displacing space.

Highly inspired and studied in viewer experience and interaction of art, her cathartic creativity is innate. Her art reflects symbiosis of spirit and form. Alison’s specific interest is in the exchange of artist-media-viewer.

For Alison Eads, there is joy in exploration and experimentation. This is actively seen in her array of creative applications. She takes pride in art as an expression as her artistic ventures are an intuitive juncture, cohesive, yet not type cast.

Alison earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Art Therapy at Springfield College and has Bachelor’s degrees in Education and Special Education from Keene State College. In addition to Nouveau Studio, LLC, Alison maintains Solace, LLC, a private clinical art therapy practice.
